Film Synopsis One

In a film that explores the struggles of a dysfunctional parent and child relationship, a brother and sister’s stories are an emotional and touching case.

On their way home from school, Dawn, a twelve year old girl, and her two year younger brother, Joseph are excited about their evening. They come home, get undressed from their school uniform, and watch TV, but with something else on their mind the whole time. In their flat, their mother cooks them dinner as they sit at the table and eat along side her.
As the afternoon becomes evening, the children dress in their coats and wait at the window looking out into the street. In anticipation they sit up in excitement at every passing car, however as time ticks on and the night time approaches they become more and more desperate at each passing car and less and less enthusiastic.

As their eyes tire and their faces drop, they are left with the reality that he never came…
