Post Production Audience Research

When I had created a first draft of my film it was important to create a Post Audience Research in order to gain an understanding of what I could change to improve my film for its final draft.

Much like one of my original audience research questionnaires, I gathered the information via the internet social networking site, ‘Facebook.’ I simply posted my films first draft in a private inbox message to a select group of people and asked them to answer three simple questions.

I am proud to say that all of the feedback was positive. People said that I had explored my films themes and issues accurately and there was a clear message shown. The small constructive comments that I was given, I applied when developing my final film draft.

This is an example of two responses that I got from the email... The first person is a fellow A2-Level media student, whilst the other one is studying media studies at University and hopes to become a director of photography. Please click on the image to enlarge...
